Do you want to volunteer as a host family to house athletes and support team members? Do you have space in your home?

As a host family, your obligation opens your home to your level of comfort for a certain numbers of athlete/s. Some athletes also come with support staff that we also try to keep with the team. Please try to make sure all the athlete/s have a bed but sometimes support members are ok with a couch or something on the floor. We also would like you to allow them access to your kitchen and a safe place to store their bikes. Anything else to make their stay more comfortable is entirely up to you.

Dates for the 2019 Cascade Cycling Classic are May 29 – June 2.
Athletes usually arrive a day or two before the race and leave the last day of racing or the day after. They will be expected to communicate with you directly after I place them.

As the race gets closer and I get requests from athletes, I match them up with housing appropriate to their team size. All housing requests will be matched with host families by Wednesday, May 15, 2019. There will team size of 8 athletes down to single riders or groups of 1-2. If you have a neighbor or neighbors who might be interested this helps to keep large teams in the same neighborhood since they usually arrive in 1 vehicle.

If you are interested in hosting athletes for this long-standing community event please fill out the editable PDF form (link below) and return it to me at ccchousing@cascade-classic.org. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact me. If you know of other families that may be interested in hosting athletes please pass this information along.
